Accepted, yes. Prestigious, no — and those are different questions. GCU's nursing programmes are CCNE accredited, which is what state boards, employers and graduate programmes actually check. What GCU does not carry is the name recognition of a flagship state university, and if that is what you are buying, you should buy it elsewhere.
