How many discussion posts is that a week?

Comparisons

GCU runs eight-week topics with two discussion questions each; Capella's FlexPath format has no discussion posts at all and bills a flat fee per twelve-week session rather than per credit.
Is GCU or Walden better for nursing?
Neither universally. Walden offers a practicum placement pledge that GCU does not; GCU is materially cheaper. Placement need and price usually decide it.
Is a GCU degree respected by employers?
Widely accepted, because the practical screen is accreditation and licensure. It does not carry the name recognition of a selective state university.
Nothing here is a substitute for asking the university about your own situation, and figures change. Everything on this page reflects GCU's published position as of August 2026.
